Sometime over the last few weeks I found out that NEXT…the six part Webseries produced by Rob Lobosco, that I directed earlier in the year was premiering on Foxtel in 2017. The birth of anything, particularly creative art, is never ever easy. And, producing a new Australian series is tough, like going to boot camp, and near impossible to get people on side. Why don’t you try it sometime?  

But, every now and then a new show or film breaks through that wall. It’s way too earlier to guess how NEXT will perform but at this stage a lot of social media love has been shown towards the series and all looks very promising, with the first night audience at the launch also full of praise. So fingers crossed. 

Online dating certainly has been in the news lately particularly Tinder, and I guess we’ve all given dating apps a go at some point in the last 10 years. Looking for love has never been easier to do than it is today… but finding ‘the one’ is still as hard as ever I reckon. As Christmas fast approaches and the silly season kicks in, I’m sure at some point I’ll be flicking through a dating app, so will you probably, forever hopeful of finding something online to brighten our day.
